Ever feel like you're just going through the motions, spiritually speaking? Like there's a disconnect between what the Bible says about you and what you actually experience?. The truth is, there's an incredible, supernatural power at work inside you, right now!
The very life of God, the eternal life that moves through your spirit. This divine life gives you authority – yes, power – over sickness, disease, and anything that tries to hold you captive. We're talking about the ability to command darkness to flee, to see healing manifest, and to walk in a victory that's not dependent on your circumstances. God has empowered you to live a life of triumph and overflowing blessings.
So, how do you tap into this incredible power? It's activated through acknowledgment and declaration. Think of it like a spiritual switch. If you don't acknowledge what God has placed within you, it can't fully operate.
Sometimes, in trying to be humble, we actually deny the very gifts God has given us. You might hear someone say, "I don't have any power; only Jesus has power." While it's true that all power comes from Jesus, that's not the whole story! Jesus Himself, in Luke 10:19 declared, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. He gave us this power! To deny it isn't humility; it's a misunderstanding of His generous grace.
Think about this: Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to live inside us. What do you think He's doing in there? The Holy Spirit isn't just a gentle presence; He is the very power of God! Acts 1:8 confirms this: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… When you received the Holy Spirit, you literally received divine power!
Notice how Jesus spoke. He boldly declared in John 5:26, For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. Some might have thought He sounded arrogant, but He was simply speaking the truth of His identity. And guess what? 1 John 4:17 tells us, ...as he is, so are we in this world. If Jesus walked in divine power, and we are reflections of Him in this world, then we too are empowered!
It's time to boldly acknowledge and declare that you are full of God's power. Let this truth be your daily consciousness and your inner thoughts. Just like the prophet Micah, who declared, But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD... Micah 3:8, you can speak this truth over your life.
This isn't just positive thinking; it's activating spiritual authority. Speaking this way has physical effects – it can cause sickness to go, tumors to shrink, and any stronghold of the enemy to crumble in your body. It's time to walk in the victorious life Jesus died to give you!
What truth about God's power in you will you declare today?
